activated clay for Aviation kerosene refining
Product detail tabs
Description
Activated clay for aviation kerosene refining is a type of granular or powdery adsorbent specifically designed for the refining process of aviation kerosene (jet fuel). It is mainly made from natural minerals such as attapulgite and montmorillonite, which are activated through processes like acid treatment and high-temperature calcination. Odorless, tasteless and non-toxic, this product boasts a large specific surface area and abundant pore structure. As the final purification step in jet fuel refining, it can accurately separate residual water, adsorb harmful substances including salts, solid particles, surfactants and organometallic compounds. Meanwhile, it can stabilize the color of the oil product, preventing discoloration and deterioration during storage and use. Its performance meets core international jet fuel specifications such as JFTOT (Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Tester) and WSIM/MSEP (Water Separation Index Modified). It is compatible with mainstream refining processes like Merox and Merichem, which can extend the operation cycle of jet fuel production equipment and ensure the safe and stable operation of aircraft engines.
