Bleaching Clay for Wine Clarification

Used for clarifying and decolorizing wine。It effectively removes yeast, tannins, and other stubborn protein particles, resulting in a clear, bright-colored wine. Furthermore, it helps reduce the formation of certain off-flavors and decreases the wine's oxidation rate.

Suggested Use

Add 0.5–1% dosage of bleaching clay,take 6-10 times its weight of warm water and stir thoroughly until a homogeneous suspension is formed. Mix the prepared bentonite solution with the wine using a stirrer or by hand. Let the mixture stand for a period of time, usually several hours to several days. Once the wine has clarified, carefully transfer the clear upper layer of wine from the container, for example, by siphoning it into another clean container.


Notes

Store in a dry and ventilated place away from direct sunlight.

Protect the product from mechanical impact and rain.

The product begins to lose crystal water above 300°C, which may change its structure and affect the decolorization effect.

The product surface easily absorbs moisture, so moisture-proof storage is required.
