bleaching clay for Paraffin wax
Product detail tabs
Description
The raw paraffin wax is heated above its melting point (usually 85-95°C) to completely liquefy it, facilitating transport and mixing.
Under stirring and at a controlled temperature, a specific ratio (usually 1%-5%, depending on the quality of the raw material) of activated clay specifically for paraffin wax is added.
The mixture is stirred for 20-40 minutes under vacuum or inert gas protection to ensure thorough contact between the clay and the molten paraffin wax, completing the adsorption process.
Thermal filtration is then performed using a plate and frame filter press or a leaf filter.
This is a critical step; the system temperature must be maintained to prevent the paraffin wax from solidifying within the equipment.
