bleaching clay for Paraffin wax

Excellent deep decolorization and whitening capabilities,Excellent thermal stability and adsorption stability,Significantly improves the light stability of paraffin,Highly efficient filtration and low wax adsorption rate.

Product detail tabs

Description

The raw paraffin wax is heated above its melting point (usually 85-95°C) to completely liquefy it, facilitating transport and mixing.

Under stirring and at a controlled temperature, a specific ratio (usually 1%-5%, depending on the quality of the raw material) of activated clay specifically for paraffin wax is added.

The mixture is stirred for 20-40 minutes under vacuum or inert gas protection to ensure thorough contact between the clay and the molten paraffin wax, completing the adsorption process.

Thermal filtration is then performed using a plate and frame filter press or a leaf filter.

This is a critical step; the system temperature must be maintained to prevent the paraffin wax from solidifying within the equipment.
